If you consistently struggle to drive traffic to your website or simply cannot pinpoin why your website is not as dynamic as your anticipated, it might be time to revisit your marketing communications plan.
Are you satisfied with the number of people that visit your website?
Are you satisfied with your search engine ranking?
Are you participating in blogs, forums, and social networking sites to share valuable information about your company and its products?
If you answered no to any of these questions you should strongly consider social media. We’re living in a time when we can reach individuals around the world, without having to spend tons of money on marketing. If your marketing communications plan does not include SEO, blogs, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube there is a strong possibility that your marketing plan is outdated. If in fact your marketing communications plan is outdated and does not include social media tools, it’s time to go to the drawing board and explore the benefits of incorporating a social media campaign.
